Maine Biomass
What We Do Is In Our Name Biomass fuels like firewood, wood pellets, bricks, blocks, etc., are eco-friendly, renewable, and virtually carbon neutral. As an alternative source of home heating, they save you money compared to petroleum fuels. Maine and the surrounding region have significant locally produced, sustainable wood fuel resources. Canawick hardwood products are made in New Brunswick by Groupe Savoie, Inc., from recycled Rock Maple, Beech, Ash, and Oak wood chips, sawdust, and shaving byproducts from their hardwood flooring factory. Lewis Fiber Fuel softwood bricks are made in Nova Scotia of Eastern White Pine sawdust byproduct from the manufacture of moldings by Lewis Mouldings. Compressed and kiln-dried under 22,000 lbs. pressure and heat these bricks, blocks, and pellets are very dense and have a low moisture and ash content. There are NO additives, glue, or dyes used. All products are guaranteed to be delivered dry. We recommend indoor storage of all products and cannot be responsible for damage due to moisture. Because there is an inherent danger with the use of any wood fuel and/or heating appliance, once delivery is completed, the supplier maintains no further liability for issues involving the use of fuel products delivered.
